In particular, the whitepaper describes CA&#8217;s plans to enable SiteMinder customers to authenticate to resources protected by SiteMinder using Information Cards and to enable claims to be delivered to applications.  Read <a href=\"http:\/\/community.ca.com\/members\/Jeffrey-Broberg.aspx\">Jeff Broberg<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"http:\/\/community.ca.com\/blogs\/iam\/archive\/2008\/04\/08\/user-centric-identity-a-joint-ca-microsoft-effort.aspx\">introduction to the paper<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ca.com\/files\/whitepapers\/ca_microsoft_usercentric_identity_wp.pdf\">whitepaper itself<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is a fantastic development for the Identity Metasystem, as SiteMinder is a key component of the identity infrastructure for numerous businesses large and small across heterogeneous platforms, including some of the largest consumer web sites.
