{"id":341,"date":"2010-09-30T20:56:06","date_gmt":"2010-10-01T03:56:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/self-issued.info\/?p=341"},"modified":"2012-09-18T16:04:41","modified_gmt":"2012-09-18T23:04:41","slug":"json-web-token-jwt-specification-draft","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/self-issued.info\/?p=341","title":{"rendered":"JSON Web Token (JWT) Specification Draft"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recognizing that there is substantial interest in representing sets of claims in JSON tokens, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.goland.org\/\">Yaron Goland<\/a> and I have put together a <a href=\"https:\/\/self-issued.info\/docs\/draft-goland-json-web-token-00.html\">draft JSON Web Token (JWT) specification<\/a> for that purpose and published it to the OAuth list, where it is being discussed.<\/p>\n<p>While this was produced independently of <a href=\"http:\/\/balfanz.github.com\/jsontoken-spec\/draft-balfanz-jsontoken-00.html\">Dirk Balfanz&#8217;s JSON token proposal<\/a>, both of us agree that we should come up with a unified spec.  Consider this draft an additional point in the possible design space from which to start discussions and drive consensus.
