{"id":2807,"date":"2026-02-16T22:03:27","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T06:03:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/self-issued.info\/?p=2807"},"modified":"2026-02-18T07:28:20","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T15:28:20","slug":"openid-federation-interop-event-at-tiime-2026-in-amsterdam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/self-issued.info\/?p=2807","title":{"rendered":"OpenID Federation Interop Event at TIIME 2026 in Amsterdam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"plain\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"right\" alt=\"OpenID logo\" src=\"http:\/\/self-issued.info\/images\/openid-logo.png\"><\/span>Implementers of <a href=\"https:\/\/openid.net\/specs\/openid-federation-1_0.html\">OpenID Federation<\/a> gathered at the <a href=\"https:\/\/tiime-unconference.eu\/\">2026 Trust and Internet Identity Meeting Europe (TIIME)<\/a> unconference in Amsterdam on Friday, February 13, 2026 to test their implementations with one another.  12 people with 9 implementations and from 9 countries performed interop tests together.  Participants were from Croatia, Finland, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Sweden, and the US.<\/p>\n<p>The interop was organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/creativethings\/\">Niels van Dijk<\/a> of SURF and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/davide-vaghetti-a9a05a9b\/\">Davide Vaghetti<\/a> of GARR.  Davide ran the interop, including assembing the test federation with the participants.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/giuseppe-de-marco-bb054245\/\">Giuseppe De Marco&#8217;s<\/a> OpenID Federation Browser was a useful tool for visualizing and understanding the test federation.
