{"id":2789,"date":"2025-12-12T12:50:26","date_gmt":"2025-12-12T20:50:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/self-issued.info\/?p=2789"},"modified":"2025-12-12T12:50:26","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T20:50:26","slug":"openid-federation-discussion-at-2025-techex","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/self-issued.info\/?p=2789","title":{"rendered":"OpenID Federation Discussion at 2025 TechEx"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"plain\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/self-issued.info\/images\/openid-logo.png\" alt=\"OpenID logo\"><\/span>I was encouraged by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/palaxelsson\/\">P\u00e5l Axelsson<\/a> to hold an unconference discussion giving an overview of <a href=\"https:\/\/openid.net\/specs\/openid-federation-1_0.html\">OpenID Federation<\/a> during the <a href=\"https:\/\/events.internet2.edu\/website\/84273\/\">2025 Internet2 Technology Exchange<\/a> conference in Denver.  So I did so with a receptive and engaged group of participants yesterday, Thursday, December 11, 2025.  See the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1Va6ipv_e6DW6C0GpJXzbVq_e-HGVn7E28EXAaLFEDvE\/edit?tab=t.0\">notes from the Thursday session<\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/philip-smart-5865b328\/\">Phil Smart<\/a>, which include links to multiple Federation pilots.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards, several people told me that they were sorry to have missed it.  So I reprised the discussion today, Friday, December 12, 2025, with a second equally engaged and mostly non-overlapping set of participants.
